Elena has been a competitive swimmer since she was in the second grade. Elena was previously a swim instructor at another local club until her daughter was born in 2006. In 2007 she became an instructor at Swymfit. She has taught swim lessons and has been an assistant swim team coach. Elena is fluent in both Russian and English and is able to teach lessons in both languages.
Instructor and Head Swim Team Coach
Heather was captain of both her high school and college swim and dive teams, and has experience instructing swimmers of all levels. She has worked as an Aquatics Director and as Head Coach of a youth swim team, and for the past three years she has served as an Assistant Coach for the Central Catholic High School boys and girls swim teams. Heather likes to help swimmers of all levels reach their potential and have fun along the way!
Curtis began teaching swimming lessons as a youth. He became certified and has taught swimming lessons professionally since 2000. He has competed in swim meets, but finds more joy in successfully teaching a child how to float for the first time.
Curtis also teaches Swymfit Deep Water classes and is a certified TRX instructor as well as being certified in the Burdenko Method. To go along with his swimming endeavors, Curtis enjoys both playing and coaching basketball and soccer. Curtis and his wife welcomed their second child in 2018.
